STATE CHAPTERS
The state chapter directory is designed to support all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Chapter information will be published only after local contacts and leadership details are verified under our directory etc.
Official MPA Affiliation: Any individual, organization, chapter, or group claiming affiliation with the Moderate Party of America is not officially recognized or authorized by MPA unless listed in our official directory. Only individuals and organizations appearing in the directory may represent themselves as authorized representatives of the Moderate Party of America.
Our goal is to establish Moderate Party of America leadership in every state and build a dedicated state page modeled after the national website. Each state page should include its platform, announcements, events, contact information, and a public directory of recognized party leadership in every county.
State and county organizations may address local needs and develop policies appropriate to their communities. However, recognized leaders must agree to uphold the party’s national philosophy, constitutional principles, major policy commitments, ethical standards, and official governance rules. Local independence does not include the authority to redefine the party, contradict its adopted national positions, misuse its name, or turn a state or county organization into a vehicle for an individual leader’s personal agenda. We must operate as one party with a shared purpose, not fifty conflicting parties using the same name. Leadership recognition will and must require:
- Written agreement with the national principles and adopted platform
- Compliance with party bylaws, ethics rules, transparency requirements, and financial controls
- Accurate representation of Official, Proposed, Under Review, and Archived positions
- Public identification of state and county officers
- Regular reporting and organizational elections
- Protection against conflicts of interest, favoritism, and personal control
- A fair complaint, investigation, appeal, suspension, and removal process
Disagreement and internal debate remain welcome. Leaders may propose changes and advocate for state-specific policies through the proper process. They may not publicly misrepresent personal views as adopted party policy or deliberately undermine the organization they were selected to represent. The purpose is not to eliminate independent thought. It is to ensure that every recognized Moderate Party organization works from the same foundation, communicates honestly, and advances the same national cause.

Each verified chapter page can include:
- Chapter name and operational status
- Verified leadership and contact information
- Announcements and meeting information
- State and local events
- Governance documents and relevant links
- Verified candidate listings for state offices other than governor, county offices, city and municipal offices, school boards, townships, special districts, and other local offices within the state.
Administrative notice: No state leader, address, telephone number, or chapter status has been invented. Entries remain pending until supplied and verified by authorized administrators.
