PROPOSED / DRAFT — CITIZEN POLICY INITIATIVE
Americans should be able to submit problems, policy proposals, reforms, proposed legislation, government inefficiencies, and suggested changes to Moderate Party of America policies directly to the party.
Serious proposals should receive genuine consideration based on constitutionality, evidence, cost, feasibility, consequences, measurable outcomes, and consistency with MPA principles—not the political identity, party registration, wealth, status, or popularity of whoever submitted them.
The party should publish a clear submission process, basic review standards, privacy rules, conflict-of-interest protections, and a method for identifying proposals selected for further research or formal consideration. Submission does not guarantee adoption, endorsement, or a personal response.
The best ideas can come from anywhere in America. Putting People First means listening to the people.
SUBMISSION & REVIEW PROCESS
The party should provide a standard submission form covering the problem, proposed solution, constitutional authority, expected cost, affected people, supporting evidence, risks, alternatives, and measurable results.
A submission should receive an acknowledgment and tracking number. Initial screening should determine whether it is complete, lawful, within party scope, duplicative of an existing proposal, or suitable for further research. Reviewers should disclose material conflicts and recuse when necessary.
Selected proposals should be identified publicly with an explanation of the next review stage. Rejected or deferred proposals may be grouped by reason without exposing private information. Personal data should not be published without consent.
WHAT WE WILL MEASURE
The party should report submissions received, topics represented, review times, proposals advanced, proposals incorporated into policy, reasons for closure, and whether geographic or demographic participation reveals significant outreach gaps.
